As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on our habits and set ourselves up for success in the coming year. 

What better way to wrap up 2024 than by committing to a 60-Day Habit Challenge? 

This is the perfect time to embrace this opportunity, not just to build lasting habits, but also to create a sense of accomplishment as we close the chapter on this year. Imagine stepping into the new year knowing you’ve already made meaningful progress – how empowering would that feel? 

Think about it: the beginning of a new year often comes with a flurry of resolutions and big dreams, but those can feel daunting when we jump in without preparation. By participating in this challenge, you’re setting the pace for your future goals. You’ll be able to say, “I’ve already taken the first steps!” It’s all about easing into those resolutions and setting yourself up for success. Plus, who doesn’t love that rush of pride from ticking off accomplishments? 

Let’s make these last two months of the year our best ones yet!

 Hey there, beautiful! If you’re just discovering this challenge a bit late, don’t be discouraged! You can jump in at any point – just pick up from wherever you are this month. Every small step counts, and it’s never too late to start building those amazing habits. Embrace the journey, and remember, it’s all about progress, not perfection. Let’s make the most of the time we have left this year!

NOVEMBER - HEALTH & WELLNESS

WEEK 1: Physical Fitness & Nutrition

  • Day 1: Drink at least 8 glasses of water.
  • Day 2: Swap out your usual snack for something healthier today like fruit, nuts, or yogurt.
  • Day 3: Try a new full body workout video of 15-25 minutes online i.e. Zumba, cardio, or HIIT.
  • Day 4: Prepare a colorful salad with at least 3 different veggies i.e. capsicum, cucumber, carrot etc.
  • Day 5: Go for a 30-minute walk in a nearby park or nature trail while listening to health related podcast.
  • Day 6: Practice mindful eating during one all the meals today. Sit down without distractions, savor each bite and pay attention to your hunger cues.
  • Day 7:  Follow a 20-30 minute yoga or stretching video online to improve flexibility and relax your mind.

  2. Is there a specific habit from this week that you’d like to integrate into your daily routine for the long term?

WEEK 2: Self-Care & Mindfulness

  • Day 8: Dedicate 15 minutes to a meditation or mindfulness practice early in the morning or before bed.
  • Day 9: Write down three things you love about yourself.
  • Day 10: Spend 15 minutes watching the sunset or sunrise, fully immersed in the moment.
  • Day 11: Journal your thoughts for 10 minutes.
  • Day 12: Try a new skincare routine or pamper yourself with a DIY facial.
  • Day 13: Spend time outdoors; enjoy nature and take photos of what inspires you.
  • Day 14: Go tech-free for the day: no phones, computers, or social media!

  1. Which self-care activity this week made you feel the most rejuvenated, and what specific feelings or changes did you notice afterward?
  2. While writing down your thoughts, did anything new surface, or was there something helpful that happened as a result of this experience?

WEEK 3: Creativity & Expression

  • Day 15: Start a gratitude jar for this week; write one thing you’re grateful for each day. 
  • Day 16: Engage in a creative hobby i.e. painting, knitting, gardening, crafting, or writing. 
  • Day 17: Host an in-person or a virtual coffee date with a friend to catch up.
  • Day 18: Take a walk and collect interesting natural items i.e. leaves, stones, flowers OR take a photo each day of something that inspires you, and compile them into a mini album
  • Day 19: Create an online vision board using Canva, to represent your goals.
  • Day 20: Write a letter to your future self, expressing your hopes and dreams.
  • Day 21: Record a short video of yourself expressing your thoughts on a topic you’re passionate about.

  1. What was your favorite creative task this week, and why did you enjoy it?
  2. Reflecting on your expression activities, what emotions or thoughts emerged that you hadn’t fully acknowledged before, and how do you feel these experiences shaped your understanding of yourself?

WEEK 4: Social Connections & Community

  • Day 22: Send a heartfelt message or note to a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while.
  • Day 23: Host a virtual coffee chat with a friend or family member for at least 30 minutes.
  • Day 24: Volunteer your time or skills to a local charity or cause.
  • Day 25: Compliment a stranger or someone in your community, either in person or online.
  • Day 26: Create a small care package (like snacks or goodies) and share it with a neighbor or coworker.
  • Day 27: Write letters to three people who inspire you, expressing your appreciation.
  • Day 28: Invite a neighbor or acquaintance for tea or coffee to strengthen your community bond.

  • Day 56: Plan a mini-celebration for completing this challenge.
